Yanko Sakasow
Janko Iwanow Sakasow ( Bulgarian Янко Иванов Сакъзов ; born September 24, 1860 in Shumen , † February 2, 1941 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian politician.
Life
Sakasow attended universities in Germany , the United Kingdom and France . From 1891 to 1896 he published the socialist magazine Den in Bulgaria . In 1892 he was one of the founders of the Bulgarian Social Democratic Union , which only existed until 1894 . He worked as editor of the federal press organ. From 1894 he was a member of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Social Democratic Workers' Party . In the governments of Aleksandar Malinow and Teodor Teodorow , Sakasow was Bulgarian Minister of Trade, Industry and Labor from 1918 to 1919. However, he then withdrew from politics.
