Janne Leskinen (born July 24, 1971 in Kuopio ) is a former Finnish ski racer . He started for the ski club of his hometown, the Puijon Hiihtoseura .

He celebrated his greatest successes in the Super-G and the giant slalom ; in both disciplines he won the Finnish championship several times. Leskinen was one of the first Finnish ski racers to achieve top placements in international competitions. As early as 1988 he was junior runner-up in giant slalom. From the winter of 1991/92 he regularly took part in competitions in the Ski World Cup, but was only rarely able to take top places. He only reached the top ten three times, his best result was fourth place in the Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1996 .

The highlight of his career was the 1996 Alpine World Ski Championships in the Sierra Nevada. He finished fourth in the Super-G and fifteenth in the combination .

In 1998, Leskinen was again the Finnish Super-G champion at Yllästunturi ; after the winter he ended his career. Today he is part of the Finnish Alpine team.
