Janusz Bogdan Kupcewicz (born December 9, 1955 in Gdansk ) is a former Polish football player and football coach .

Club career as a player

Janusz Kupcewicz began his career as a midfielder in Poland and played there for the clubs Arka Gdynia , Lech Poznań and later for Lechia Gdańsk .

In 1983 he moved to France for AS Saint-Etienne , where he played for two seasons before moving to Greece for AE Larisa in 1985 . In 1986 he returned to Poland for two seasons and ended his career with Adanaspor in Turkey after the 1988/89 season .

National team career as a player

Janusz Kupcewicz played 20 international matches for the Polish national soccer team and took part in the 1978 World Cup and the 1982 World Cup.

Career as a coach

Kupcewicz coached the Polish national futsal team and several lower-class clubs in Poland. He also works as a physical education teacher.
