Jarl Jakobsson

Jarl Jakobsson ( Jarl Gustav Anian Jakobsson; born May 11, 1880 in Helsinki ; † December 28, 1951 there ) was a Finnish javelin thrower and long jumper .

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 he took part in the competitions in standing long jump , javelin throw in free style and javelin throw with center grip; its placements are not recorded.

The Finn was playing for Helsingin Reipas at the time of the Olympic Games . He had set up his best performance in the javelin throw in 1906 with a distance of 50.35 m. His cousin Walter Jakobsson and his German-born wife Ludowika won gold in 1920 and silver in 1924 in the Olympic figure skating competition.
