Jarle Midthjell Gjørven (born March 14, 1993 ) is a Norwegian biathlete .

Jarle Midthjell Gjørven starts for Markane Il . He competed in his first international races as part of the 2014 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . In the individual he still missed the top ten in 14th place, in the sprint he was ninth and in the pursuit race he was able to advance to bronze thanks to only two shooting errors and therefore very few in the field. With the relay, in turn, he just missed another medal in fourth place.

Nationally, Gjørven has had his greatest successes so far. In 2013 he won the title in the relay race of the Norwegian Championships in Dombås alongside Johannes Thingnes Bø , Håvard Bogetveit and Tarjei Bø , and in 2014 in Voss together with Johan Eirik Meland , Håvard Bogetveit and Johannes Thingnes Bø as the representative of the Sogn og Fjordane region .
