Jaromír Paciorek (born July 11, 1979 in Kroměříž ) is a Czech football player .

Jaromír Paciorek started playing football in his hometown at SK Hanácká Slavia Kroměříž . His talent was soon noticed by the then second division club FC Zlín , who brought Paciorek into their own ranks. His strengths were his speed, his play structure, his passing. He was also considered strong in tackles.

At the U-16 European Championship in Belgium in 1995 , several top European clubs became aware of the defensive midfielder, including FC Bayern Munich , who eventually signed David Jarolím . Paciorek, however, signed with Feyenoord Rotterdam . In his first year he played for the junior team, at the age of 17 he made the leap into the first team, but was unable to play for the professionals due to a lack of work permits in competitive games. In 1997 he moved to the second Dutch league for city rivals Excelsior Rotterdam . After only one year he went to Fortuna Sittard , where he played only irregularly in three years and only made 31 appearances. In the media, he was said to have an unsteady way of life, Paciorek described the allegations as untrue. At the end of 2000, his contract was terminated prematurely.

In 2001 Paciorek had an offer from Switzerland, but eventually returned to the Czech Republic and signed with Stavo Artikel Brno . There he made only five games due to several injuries. At the beginning of the 2002/03 season he trained at Tescoma Zlín , but was seriously injured. Although he was promised to stay, Paciorek left the club voluntarily. Paciorek was finally seen as an undisciplined, poor fitness, lazy player and also a prone to injury. He was even said to have been a drug dealer. “I don't give a damn what others think of me,” Paciorek replies.

The former huge talent got a kind of last chance at his youth club SK Hanácká Slavia Kroměříž, which he helped to move up to the 2nd division. However, Paciorek was not part of the regular formation in Kroměříž either. In early 2006 he finally moved to the 4th division to Spartak Hulín. In summer 2009 Paciorek moved to Austria for SK Eggenburg.
