Jaromír Plocek (born December 14, 1974 in Pardubice ) is a former Czech football player and current coach .

Club career

Plocek started playing football at VCHZ Pardubice. In 1993, the midfielder moved to Viktoria Plzen , he made his debut in the Czech first division on November 27, 1994, Plzen and Slavia Prague were drawn 1: 1. After three years in Pilsen , Plocek moved to the then second division club Atlantic Lázně Bohdaneč , which he helped to move up to the Gambrinus League . When the newcomer had to relegate immediately, Plocek went to Viktoria Žižkov . At the capital club, he came to 57 first division games in two and a half years, in which he scored two goals.

In early 2001 Plocek was obliged by SK České Budějovice , although he could not prevent the team from being relegated to the 2nd division, the team managed to get up again immediately in the following season. In the 2002/03 season he was no longer part of the team, especially towards the end of the season, and therefore decided in July 2003 to move to the Slovak champions MŠK Žilina . After a few weeks, however, the midfielder returned to České Budějovice . As an experienced player, Plocek was usually part of the starting line-up. In summer 2008 he moved to SC Zwettl in the Austrian Regionalliga Ost . In 2009 he worked briefly as a player-coach. He played with the club in the Regionalliga Ost , and was relegated to the Lower Austrian Regional League in 2010 with the club . In the summer of 2011 he moved to league competitor SV Waidhofen / Thaya .

Coaching career

In the summer of 2012, Plocek became player-coach at USV Allentsteig , and at the beginning of 2014 he joined USV Kirchschlag / Waldviertel in the same position . In 2014 he ended his active career and took over SC Zwettl as head coach for one year in the Lower Austrian regional league.

National team

Plocek played two games for the Czech U-21 selection in 1995 .
