Jaron Mazuz

Jaron Mazuz ( Hebrew ירון מזוז* 11. July 1962 in Haifa ) is an Israeli politician of the party Likud .

Life

Mazuz's parents come from Tunisia . Since 2008 Mazuz was a member of the Kiryat Bialik City Council. Mazuz has been a member of the Knesset since 2015 . He is married with three children and lives in Kiryat Bialik .

From June 14, 2015 to January 11, 2016, he was Deputy Minister of the Interior in Benjamin Netanyahu IV's cabinet . From January to August 2016, he was Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, and since August 2, 2016, he has been Deputy Minister for Environment Protection in the same cabinet.
