Jarosław Wacław Lasecki (born June 1, 1961 in Myszków ) is a Polish politician and businessman. He has been a member of the Polish Senate since 2005 .

Life

Lasecki studied at the Mechanical Faculty of the Technical University of Krakow , the Institute for German Studies at the University of Paderborn and the Institute for Applied Thermodynamics at RWTH Aachen University . He was a scholarship holder of the Klöckner Foundation. From 1990 to 1995 he worked for the American consulting company "The Boston Consulting Group " (BCG) in Düsseldorf and Zurich . In 1995 Jarosław Lasecki founded the discount chain “ Plus ” in Poland, where he was, among other things, chairman of the board. From 2003 he was the managing director of Teng GmbH, which operates in the commercial real estate market. Jarosław Lasecki is married and has five children.

In the parliamentary elections in 2005 , he was elected as an independent candidate in the constituency of Częstochowa as Senator of the Senate . His parliamentary mandate expired on December 19, 2005 as a result of the Supreme Court ruling on the invalidation of the Senate elections in this constituency due to incorrect ballot papers. On January 22, 2006, he was re-elected when the ballot was repeated. He sat on the Committee on Economics and the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Act

Jarosław Lasecki financed the preservation of monuments in the region from his own resources, among other things for the renovation of the parish church in Żuraw and the reconstruction of the Bobolice Castle and other national monuments. He is the honorary commander of the Voluntary Fire Brigade in Żuraw , a member of the Polish Hunting Association, the Association of Managers in Poland, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the [[German-Polish Chamber of Industry and Commerce | German-Polish Chamber of Industry and Commerce "Inwestor Roku" ( 1999) and “Mecenas Kultury” (2001).
