Jarosława Bieda
Jarosława Bieda (until 1960 Jóźwiakowska ; born January 20, 1937 in Poznan ) is a former Polish high jumper .
In 1959 she won bronze at the Universiade . At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 , she won the silver medal with 1.71 m together with the British Dorothy Shirley behind the Romanian Iolanda Balaș (1.85 m).
A seventh place at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade in 1962 and a tenth place at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo was followed by the bronze medal at the European Championships in Budapest in 1966 .
In total, she was national champion eight times (1957, 1959–1962, 1964–1966). She set her personal best of 1.75 m on July 16, 1964 in Warsaw .
