Jaroslav Zápalka (born April 18, 1958 ) is a former Czech football player .
Club career
Jaroslav Zápalka played from 1981 with the TJ Vítkovice in the 1st Czechoslovak League. In the 1985/86 season, the goalkeeper surprisingly won the Czechoslovak championship with his team. He played a total of 174 games in the top Czechoslovakian league for Vítkovice.
From 1989 to 1992 the goalkeeper played for Kremser SC in the Austrian 1st division . Player in the last two years was among others the Argentine world champion from 1978 Mario Kempes , in the 1991/92 season he played in Krems together with the Slovak Ivan Čabala .
After retirement
After his active career, Zápalka ran a restaurant with his wife. Today he lives in Město Albrechtice , where he works as a caretaker in a school.
