Yaroslav Choma

Yaroslav Bogdanowitsch Choma ( Ukrainian Ярослав Богданович Хома ; born February 17, 1974 in Lemberg ) is a former Ukrainian football player . The midfielder was a Ukrainian international .

Choma started his career at Promin Sambir. In 1995 he moved to Wolyn Lutsk in the Premjer-Liha . After a season he went to the second-rate Podillja Khmelnyzkyj. With the club he was relegated in 1997, but managed direct resurgence the next year. In 1999 he moved back to the first division for Karpaty Lviv . With Karpaty he took part in the 1999/2000 UEFA Cup , but where they were eliminated on penalties in the first round. In the first half of 2001 he was with Shakhtar Donetsk and then returned to Karpaty Lviv. In 2003 he was banned for seven months for doping . In 2004 he switched to Metalurh Zaporizhia . In 2005/06 he was again with Wolyn Lutsk and in 2006/07 with Krywbas Krywyj Rih .

Choma was appointed to the Ukrainian national team once in 2001.
