Jato Sillah

Jato S. Sillah (also Jatto Sillah ) (* 28 October 1962 in Kerewan Nyakoi , Upper River Division ) was Minister of Forestry and Environment ( Secretary of State for Forestry and the Environment ) of the West African country Gambia .

Life

Sillah attended St. Augustine's High School from 1975 to 1980 and began his civil service in September 1980. In 2000 he became director of forestry in the Department of State for Forestry & the Environment . He obtained his Master of Science degree in forestry and planning from the Faculty of Forestry at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen .

He was appointed by President Jammeh on October 28, 2009 as Minister and successor to Momodou Kotu Cham .
