Jatupong Thongsukh ( Thai : จตุ พง ษ์ ทอง สุข , born January 12, 1976 in Loei ) is a Thai former football player on the position of a defender . Jatupong, however, is a trained striker . He plays for FC Chula United in the Thai Premier League .

Career

He started his career at FC Raj-Vithi and moved to BEC-Tero Sasana in 1998 . He remained loyal to the club for ten years and celebrated his greatest successes at club level with him. From 2001 to 2004 he won two championships with the club, was twice runner-up and in 2003 reached the final of the AFC Champions League . He was in the starting line-up in both games of the final. At the beginning of the 2009 season he moved to FC Chula United .

His career in the youth national teams of Thailand began relatively late for him with the call to the U-19 . In 1998 he took part with the team in the finals of the 1998 U-19 Asian Cup. With the senior team he took part in the 1999 Southeast Asian Games a year later and won the gold medal with the team. In the entire tournament he scored two goals and he was attacking partner of Kiatisak Senamuang , who could become top scorer in this tournament. Later injuries threw him back again and again, so that he was hardly considered in the national team.
