Jay Bridger

Jay Bridger (born September 23, 1987 in Kent ) is a British racing driver .

Career

Bridger began his motorsport career in karting at the age of eight and was active in the sport until 2005. In 2006 he moved into the single-seater racing and entered the British Formula Ford to. With a podium finish, he finished the season in ninth place overall. In the subsequent winter championship of the series, he finished eighth in the overall standings with a win. In 2007 Bridger stayed in the British Formula Ford and improved to fifth place in the drivers' championship with one win.

In 2008 he joined Fluid Motorsport as a teammate of Stefan Wilson in the British Formula 3 championship and won the championship title in the national class. In 2009 he started for various teams in the British Formula 3 championship. With a seventh place as the best result, he finished the season in 15th place overall. In 2010 Bridger contested his third season in British Formula 3 for Litespeed F3 . A fourth place was his best result of the season, which he finished in 14th place in the drivers' standings.
