Jay Triano
Howard James "Jay" Triano (born September 21, 1958 in Tillsonburg , Ontario ) is a Canadian basketball coach and former player.
He is currently under contract as an assistant coach with the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA . He was previously the head coach of the Toronto Raptors and interim coach of the Phoenix Suns .
Triano was a player on the Canadian national basketball team and took part in two Olympic Games ( 1984 and 1988 ). Later he was also the head coach of the Canadian team twice.
