Jazmyne Avant (born January 30, 1990 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American football player .

Career

After participating in the Sky Blue FC pre-season in early 2012 , Avant played after the WPS disbanded in the WPSL Elite at New York Fury and was there in ten league games. In February 2013 she was signed by Portland Thorns FC , where she made her league debut on May 4, 2013 against Washington Spirit . In June 2013, her contract in Portland was dissolved, Avant subsequently joined the league rival Boston Breakers , with whom she was under contract until July 24, 2014. In the 2015 season she was occasionally as an amateur player in the squad of the Houston Dash, but was not used.
