The Jbel Aklim ( Berber language : Adrar n'Aklim ) is with its height of 2531 m (probably) the highest mountain of the Anti-Atlas Mountains in southern Morocco . The next higher peaks of the Anti-Atlas are in the vicinity of Jbel Aklim and close to the Ammeln valley in the vicinity of Tafraoute ( Jbel Lekst and Jbel m'Korn ). The mountains of the Anti Atlas were measured for the first and last time during the French protectorate period (1912 to 1956).

Like almost all mountains in the Anti-Atlas, the Jbel Aklim is characterized by heavily eroded rocks and loose scree.
