The Jbel Hebri in the province of Ifrane in the Fès-Meknes region is a 2104 m high mountain cone of volcanic origin in the west of the Middle Atlas in Morocco .
location
The Jbel Hebri is only about 8 km (driving distance) southwest of the Jbel Mischliffen or about 26 km south of the provincial capital Ifrane .
tourism
The wooded mountains around Ifrane are popular with wealthy Moroccans from Casablanca , Rabat and Fès both as a summer resort and - next to Oukaïmeden in the High Atlas - as winter sports resorts; some even have spacious holiday homes and villas in the region. In the summer months it is comparatively cool due to the altitude and the shady forests and there is usually enough snow here from mid-December to the end of February - then a chairlift is in operation in the ski area 1950 m to 2090 m high.
