Jean-Christophe Menu (* 1964 in Amiens ) is a French comic artist.

Life

Menu began drawing comics in his youth and founded the magazine “Journal de Lapot” as a teenager. In 1988 he published the titles "Mêder" and "Le portrait de Lurie Ginol" at Futuropolis . In 1990 he founded the publishing house L'Association with his drawing colleagues Killoffer , Mattt Konture , Stanislas , David B. and Lewis Trondheim . From 1992 to 1995 Menu worked on the series “Mune Comix” and published autobiographically influenced stories in “Livret de phamille” and “Gnognottes”. In 2001, Menu founded his own publishing house with "JC Menu Éditeur", in which he wrote an extensive volume of sketches byJacques Tardi published.
