Jean-Jacques Milteau (* 1950 in Paris ) is a French blues singer and harmonica player .

Life

Milteau discovered the blues harmonica in the mid-1960s when he was listening to albums from musicians such as Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones . His interest was aroused and on a later trip to America he got to know the traditional blues. At the end of the 1970s he decided to make a living with music. He played with many French singers such as Yves Montand , Eddy Mitchell, Jean-Jacques Goldman , Maxime Le Forestier, Barbara , Charles Aznavour ... His breakthrough as a soloist in France came in 1989 with the album Blues Harp and many concerts with US blues -Singers like Mighty Mo Rodgers , Demi Evans ... In addition to music, he also wrote textbooks for the harmonica.
