Jean-Michel Bellot
Jean-Michel Bellot (born December 6, 1953 in Neuilly-sur-Seine ) is a former French pole vaulter .
At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1971 he was eliminated from the qualification, and at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1972 in Grenoble, he failed a valid attempt.
In 1973 he won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in Rotterdam , and in 1975 he was ninth at the European Indoor Championships in Katowice .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he came in seventh place.
In 1977 he stayed at the European Indoor Championships in San Sebastián without a valid attempt, and in 1979 he won silver at the Mediterranean Games . At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, he was fifth.
In 1981 he won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in Grenoble . A victory at the European Athletics Cup in Zabreb was followed by a second place at the World Athletics Cup in Rome .
The following year he finished sixth at the European Indoor Championships in 1982 in Milan and was eliminated from qualifying at the European Championships in Athens .
He was twice French champion (1973, 1981) and four times French indoor champion (1972, 1975-1977).
