Jean-Paul Valabrega

Jean-Paul Valabrega (born June 21, 1922 in Saint-Claude , † January 25, 2011 ) was a French psychoanalyst .

Valabrega founded the organization psychanalytique de langue française (OPLF), also known as the "Quatrième Groupe" ("Fourth Group"), with Piera Aulagnier , François Perrier and Cornelius Castoriadis in the late 1960s . This group of "Lacanians without Lacan " saw "their focus in the clinical field and (published) the magazine Topique since 1969 ".
