Jean-Pierre Bertrand

Jean-Pierre Bertrand (* 1937 in Paris ; † June 29, 2016 there ) was a French painter and installation artist .

At the beginning of his career, Bertrand was a cameraman , filmmaker and actor . In 1965 he began to devote himself to the fine arts. In 1970 he had his first solo exhibition in the municipal art collections in Ludwigshafen. He expanded his interest in cinema through photography, painting, drawing and installations. Jean-Pierre Bertrand has exhibited in numerous internationally renowned museums.
