Jean Aicard
Jean François Victor Aicard (born February 4, 1848 in Toulon , † May 13, 1921 in Paris ) was a French poet , novelist and playwright .
He became particularly famous for his work Maurin des Maures , published in 1908 .
Aicard was elected a member of the Académie française in 1909 and an officer of the Legion of Honor in 1901 .
The writer's literary estate is in the Archives of the City of Toulon.
