Jean Bosco Baremes SM (born August 30, 1960 in Han, Carteret Islands ) is Bishop of Port-Vila .

Life

Jean Bosco Baremes joined the religious order of the Marist Fathers , made his profession on January 18, 1981 and was ordained a priest on December 4, 1987 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 18, 2009 Bishop of Port-Vila .

The Archbishop of Nouméa , Michel-Marie-Bernard Calvet SM, ordained him episcopal on February 14 of the following year; Co- consecrators were Soane Patita Paini Mafi , Bishop of Tonga , and Ghislain Marie Raoul Suzanne de Rasilly SM, Bishop of Wallis and Futuna .
