Jean Bouchaud (born August 3, 1936 in Marseille ) is a French actor and screenwriter .

Live and act

The son of a captain in the French merchant navy, Jean Bouchaud spent his childhood in Marseille . At the age of 13 the family moved to Paris. Bouchaud received his training as an actor from Jean Vilar . This was followed by appearances in various Parisian theaters and cabarets, among others at the side of Pierre Richard . He then moved to the Théâtre de la Cité in Caen , where he appeared in The Marriage of Figaro von Beaumarchais or Ibsen's Hedda Gabler . Numerous scripts and dialogues originate from Jean Bouchaud's pen. For example, he wrote the lyrics for the musical show effroi , which was staged by Jean-Christophe Averty with music by Georges Moustaki . Between 1960 and 2009 Jean Bouchaud also worked in numerous feature films and television productions, mostly of French origin. However, he also had appearances in international productions such as the German-British television series Blaues Blut .

Jean Bouchaud is the father of the actor Nicolas Bouchaud .
