Jean Clareboudt
Jean Clareboudt (born 1944 in Lyon , † April 7, 1997 in Turkey ) was a French visual artist .
Life
After attending the École supérieure d'arts graphiques Penninghen in Paris 1961–1965, Clareboudt joined the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris in 1967 . Clarebout last lived in Paris, La Chapelle-Basse-Mer and Pierre-Percée . He and his wife died in an accident in 1997 while on a trip to Turkey.
Installations are his main work . In it, Clareboudt dealt with tensions and interactions between space, place and the materials wood, stone and steel, some of which he took from nature.
