La Chapelle-Basse-Mer ( Breton : Chapel-Baz-Meur ) is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune of Divatte-sur-Loire with 5,447 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Loire-Atlantique department in the Pays region de la Loire .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the communes of La Chapelle-Basse-Mer and Barbechat were merged to form a commune nouvelle called Divatte-sur-Loire.
geography
La Chapelle-Basse-Mer is located on the south bank of the Loire , into which the Divatte flows here. The Muscadet , Muscadet Sèvre et Maine and Gros Plant du Pays Nantais wine-growing regions are also located here .
