Jean Mazuel (son)
Jean Mazuel = Jean Mazuel (son) (* 1594 in Paris ; † 1633 ibid) was a French violinist from the Mazuel dynasty of musicians . His father was Jean Mazuel (father) , his brother Pierre Mazuel .
life and work
In 1610 Jean Mazuel founded an association of orchestral musicians, to which he belonged until his death.
In 1620 he was recorded as a member of the "32 violons de la ville de Paris". After his death, his widow sold the position as "violon du roi" to Jacques Favier (1605–1691).
