Jeanne Evans

Jeanne Evans (born March 10, 1924 in Utah as Jeanne Marie Ayrest , † May 5, 2012 ) was an American actress.

Life

Jeanne Evans was the daughter of Clarence Ayrest (also Agrest ), a chicken farmer from Wyoming and his wife Jessie from Iowa . From 1930 the family lived in Inglewood , California , where Jeanne attended high school. Jeanne had a sister (Barbara) and three brothers (Robert, Allen and Forrest).

In the 1950s, Evans has appeared in supporting roles in several films and TV series, including in Twilight Zone in the wake To Serve Men , in which her husband, writer-director Richard L. Bare led directing. Evans was married to Bare from 1958 until they divorced in 1965. She had one child with Frederick Gleason, with whom she was also married from 2004 until her death.
