Jed Rothstein

Jed Rothstein (* 20th century ) is an American film director and film producer in the field of documentary films .

Career

Rothstein's career in the film business began in 1999 when he co-produced the documentary American Gypsy . Rothstein received an Emmy at the News & Documentary Emmy Awards in 2003 for serving on the production team at Kids Behind Bars in 2001 . As a film director, he was responsible for the first time in 2002, it was a documentary about AIDS.

His television documentaries are shown on the Home Box Office , National Geographic Channel , Discovery Channel and CNN , among others .

At the 2011 Academy Awards , Rothstein received a nomination for his film Killing in the Name in the category of best short documentary film .

Jed Rothstein lives in New York with his wife, author Mira Jacob , and their son .
