Jeffrey S. Medkeff (* 1968 in Akron ; † August 3, 2008 in Houston ) was an American astronomer . Between 1999 and 2000 he discovered a total of 10 asteroids , three of them together with his colleague David B. Healy . Around 1999 he founded the Rockland Observatory in Sierra Vista in the US state of Arizona .
The asteroid (41450) Medkeff , discovered on June 1, 2000 by Myke Collins and M. White, was named after him in 2003.
