Jelena Maratovna Sharafutdinova , in other sources Fatchutdinova ( Russian Елена Маратовна Шарафутдинова ; * 1983 ) is a Russian archery biathlete .
Sharafutdinova achieved her first successes at the junior races of the World Championships in 2004 in Pokljuka , where she won the relay race gold with Natalija Jemelina and Anna Kletskowa and was runner-up in the sprint race, the pursuer and the mass start race. In 2005 she became the Russian mass start champion. She achieved her first success with women in the performance area when she won the silver medal in sprint races at the last World Championships in Moscow in 2008 , behind Valentina Linkowa and ahead of Jekaterina Lugowkina . She was even more successful at the 2008 European Championships in Moscow, the last international championships in archery biathlon to date. Behind Jemelina and Linkowa she first won bronze in the sprint and the pursuit race, in the mass start she improved to second place behind Jemelina and ahead of Jekaterina Jaschina .
