Jennerfest

The Jennerfest , also called Jenner-Fest or Jennerfeier , is a celebration usually held annually by doctors on May 14th , during which the English doctor Edward Jenner and the first successful vaccination against him on May 14th, 1796 Smallpox was made (to James Phipps ).

The day of the Jenner Festival in 1829 was determined by the doctor Louis Stromeyer as the founding date of the Hannover Medical Association .
