Jennifer-Julia Caron (born October 4th in Berlin ; also Jenny Caron "Jennifer Caron" "JeJu Caron") is a German- American actress .

Life

Jennifer Caron grew up in Eliot, Maine, USA , where she graduated from high school. She completed her acting and singing training at the Folkwang School in Essen .

Career

Her first engagements took her to the Grillo Theater in Essen, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and the Oberhausen Theater. Later on to plays such as Manfred Zapatka's staging of A Spanish Piece , Anna Bergmann's staging of Tom Lanoye's Mamma Medea at the Berliner Arbeiter-Theater (bat) and as Salome in Dirk Moras ' Lust at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater . From 2000 to 2002 she was permanently engaged at the theater in Oberhausen (including as Karla in Sonnenfinsternis , as the angel bear in Christina Böckler's Hansel and Gretel production and in the role of Roxanne in Cyrano ). This was followed by roles at the Theater Bonn and at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . In 2005 she played the young Hildegard Knef in For me it should rain red roses at the grandstand in Berlin . She has been nominated several times as "Best Young Actress in North Rhine-Westphalia".

In addition to the theater, Jennifer Caron is also musically active. Among other things, she was engaged as a singer at the Basel Opera from 2008 to 2010 and in 2011 she was a musical performer at the Hans Otto Theater Potsdam and the Burgfestspiele in Bad Vilbel .
