Jenny Dalenoord
Jenny Dalenoord (born June 17, 1918 in Chiberon on Java ; † October 25, 2013 in Soest , Netherlands ) was a Dutch painter.
Dalenoord worked in The Hague from 1954 to 2003. In the Netherlands she was a well-known children's book illustrator. She created z. B. the illustrations for the Jan Jaap children's book series by Leonard Roggeveen (1898–1959), which has also been translated into German, or for children's books by Anne de Vries , Annie MG Schmidt (Wiplala is coming again) , An Rutgers and Miep Diekmann . In Germany she is known for her pictures for the Bible for the Primary School (1979) published by the German Bishops' Conference .
