Jenny Lattermann (born December 28, 1929 in Vienna ; † November 29, 1993 ) was an Austrian actress .

Life

Jenny Lattermann completed her acting training at the renowned Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, where she also received her first stage engagements. a. at the Burgtheater . There she played the role of "Helga" in 1952 under the direction of Leopold Lindtberg in a production by Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt . Heinz Hilpert finally engaged her at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen, as she played for many years alongside well-known colleagues such as Curd Jürgens , Werner Krauss and Käthe Gold . Other theater stations were various Swiss theaters and the Darmstadt State Theater. From 1972 she was part of the ensemble of the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus for 14 years . During this time she made several guest appearances at the Mülheimer Theatertage , a. a. 1986 as "Composer Kruschwitz" in Tankred Dorsts Heinrich or the pain of fantasy . In 1986 she moved to the Bavarian State Theater in Munich with the departing Düsseldorf artistic director Günther Beelitz . There she played u. a. the "Betzn" in Tankred Dorsts Korbes (Residenztheater 1989). Her last stage roles were in 1993 "Guggi" in Harald Kislinger's A liebs Kind and "Perfetta" in Natalia Ginzburg's La Segretaria .

In 1956, Jenny Lattermann made her feature film debut in Falk Harnack's drama Night of the Decision . Nevertheless, she remained a rare guest in film and television productions. Her few forays into this medium include the Chekhov adaptation Der Kirschgarten (with Inge Birkmann and Walter Rilla ) and the black comedy Zweikampf with Joachim Wichmann . She played her last television role in the Derrick episode A very honorable gentleman , which was first broadcast on April 24, 1994 - almost half a year after the death of Jenny Lattermann.
