Jens Klocksin

Jens Klocksin (* 1957 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 2004 to 2009 he was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament .

Life

Jens Klocksin was born in the East Berlin district of Lichtenberg and moved to Hesse with his parents in 1959. He passed his Abitur in 1976 in Weilburg / Lahn. Between 1976 and 1978 he was stationed as a contract soldier in Wetzlar. From 1978 to 1983 he worked as a construction worker, interior decorator and taxi driver. From 1983 to 1985 he was a project manager at Service Civil International (German branch). This was followed by a position as a personal advisor to the chairman of the budget committee of the German Bundestag from 1985 to 1990 . During this time he also studied political science , psychology and law in Heidelberg and Bonn . In 1989 he passed his master's degree.

In 1990, Klocksin took on a consulting role for Deutsche Telepost Consulting GmbH (project "500 years of the post"). From 1991 to 1998 he was a consultant at the Federal Ministry of Economics . During this time he was promoted to Dr. phil. at the University of Marburg after a successful Rigorosum on Communists in Parliament: the KPD in the governments and parliaments of the West German occupation zones and the Federal Republic of Germany (1945–1956) doctorate .

From 1998 to 2002 Klocksin worked as head of the Infrastructure Policy Division in the Federal Chancellery . Between 2000 and 2007 he acted as an honorary member of the advisory board of the An-Institut for the revitalization and development of commercial and conversion areas as well as brownfield sites (IREGIA) at the Technical University of Chemnitz. From 2002 to 2004 he was responsible for model projects for spatial planning and project planning in the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing . Since 2009 he has been head of the department for environmental protection in the railway sector and for overarching tasks in rail transport in the Federal Ministry for Digital Infrastructure. In this function he was a member of the voluntary advisory board of the Association of Railway Engineers ( VDEI ) from 2010 to 2014 .

Jens Klocksin is married and has two children.

Jens Klocksin has been a member of the SPD since 1975. Since then he has held various functions in the Working Group of Young Socialists and in the SPD, among others. a. Member of the sub-district executive committee for Bonn and the state executive committee for Brandenburg.

From 2003 to 2014 Klocksin was a member of the Kleinmachnow community council . He was u. a. Chairman of the SPD parliamentary group, member of the main committee , chairman of the building committee and chairman of the municipal working group “Der Teltow”. Between 2011 and 2014 he was chairman of the supervisory board of the planning and development company Kleinmachnow mbH.

As of October, 2004 was Jens Klocksin member of the Landtag Brandenburg . He was directly elected to the state parliament in the constituency of Potsdam-Mittelmark IV . From November 2004 he was the transport policy spokesman for the parliamentary group . He was a deputy chairman of the Committee for Infrastructure and Spatial Planning as well as the Committees for European Affairs and Development Policy, for Economy and for Environment and Agriculture. From 2005 to 2009 he was a voluntary member of the Advisory Board of the Brandenburg Ministry of Finance for the exploitation of the properties of the Western Group of Troops (WGT Advisory Board). In 2008/09 he was a member of the 1st Committee of Inquiry (Land Reform Land). In the state elections in 2009 , Klocksin did not run again.
