Jens Wetterau

Jens Wetterau (* 1976 in Marburg ) is a German university professor for nutritional science at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences and a specialist book author.

Life

Grew up in the Central Hessian Dautphetal , between 1996 and 2001, Wetterau studied ecotrophology specializing in nutritional economics at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen . After completing his studies, which he graduated as a qualified nutritionist, he was a freelance consultant for catering companies. From 2003 to 2007 he was both a research assistant at the chair for management of personal utilities at the University of Giessen, and a lecturer at the University of Fulda . In July 2007 he graduated as Dr. oec. troph. and has held the professorship for hospitality services and ergonomics at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Mönchengladbach since March 2008 . He is one of the youngest professors in Germany.
