Jeon Yeo-been (born July 26, 1989 ) is a South Korean actress .

Life

Jeon Yeo-been studied radio at Dongduk Women's University in Seoul and gained some acting experience. Moon So-ri saw Jeon in a trailer for the Seoul Women's Film Festival and hired her for a role in her short film The Best Director (2015), which is part of the episode film The Running Actress (2017). Henceforth she received a smaller role in some film productions. In 2015 she made a brief appearance in The Treacherous . In 2016 she had her first major role in the independent tragic comedy Merry Christmas Mr. Mo by Lim Dae-hyung. Her breakthrough came in 2017 with After My Death , Kim Ui-seok's graduation film from the Korean Academy of Film Arts . The film received the New Currents Award for Best First Work at the Busan International Film Festival 2017 . In addition, Jeon Yeo-been was named best actress .

In 2019 she starred in Lee Byeong-heon's critically acclaimed television series Be Melodramatic . In 2020 followed a leading role in the comedy Save the Zoo and the film noir Night in Paradise .
