Jeremy Jones (born April 30, 1971 in Baytown , Texas ) is an American pool player .

His greatest career successes so far were winning the US Open in 9-Ball in 2003 by beating Jose Parica in the final and reaching the final of the 9-Ball World Championship in 1999, which he lost to Nick Varner .

He has also represented the USA seven times at the Mosconi Cup , most recently in 2008 . His nickname in the pool scene is (because of his initials) JJ or Double J .
