Jeremy Munday
Jeremy Munday (born May 18, 1960 ) is a British linguist and translation scholar. He teaches as a professor of translation studies at the University of Leeds and works as a translator for the language combinations Spanish-English and French-English.
Life
Jeremy Munday received his PhD in 1997 from the University of Bradford on Systems in translation: A computer-assisted systemic analysis of the translation of García Márquez , but the dissertation was not published. He was then a lecturer in Romance studies at the University of Surrey before taking up the professorship in translation studies at the University of Leeds .
