Jerry Azumah (* 1. September 1977 in Oklahoma City , Oklahoma ) is a former American American football poker players. He was cornerback for the Chicago Bears in the National Football League (NFL) and wore the number 23.
Before joining the NFL, Azumah played college football for the University of New Hampshire - also in the cornerback position. In 1999 he was selected by the Chicago Bears in the fifth round of the NFL Draft . Prior to the 2006 season , he announced his retirement from professional football due to persistent injury problems.
