Jerry Siebert
Jerry Siebert (actually Jerome Francis Siebert; born October 6, 1938 in Los Angeles ) is a former American middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .
At the Olympic Games he reached the semi-finals in Rome in 1960 and was sixth in Tokyo in 1964 .
In 1962 and 1964 he was US champion over 880 yards and 800 m, respectively. He set his personal best over 880 yards of 1: 47.0 min (corresponds to 1: 46.3 min over 800 m) on June 9, 1962 in Palo Alto .
