Jerry Steinhilber
Jerry Steinhilber is an American jazz - drummer .
Steinhilber has been playing the drums since he was twelve. He studied jazz music at the Berklee School of Music and then worked as a musician on cruise ships. In the mid-1980s he was part of the rhythm section of a band that performed in casinos and resorts. After appearing as a jazz musician in Santa Barbara, he played dance music in Phoenix.
In the early 1990s Steinhilber went to Los Angeles, where he a. a. worked with Eric Marienthal , Pete Christlieb and the brothers John and Jeff Clayton and perfected his drum technique with Murray Spivak . Since the late 1990s he has been leading his own trio, with which he recorded two albums.
