Jesús Zárate
Jesús Zárate Estrada (born September 5, 1974 ) is a retired Mexican cyclist .
In 1993 Jesús Zarate won the silver medal in the team time trial at the Central American and Caribbean Games . In 1998 he became the Mexican road racing champion . The following year he rode for the American Mercury Cycling Team . In his first year there, he won the Christiana Care Cup and the First Union Wilmington Classic . In 2003 he won the Vuelta a las Americas . In 2005 he won a stage of the Costa Rica Tour , and in 2006 Zarate was second in the overall ranking of the Vuelta a Chihuahua . At the beginning of the 2007 season he won part of the Tour of Cuba .
