Juan Pablo Magallanes Aranda (born February 6, 1982 ) is a Mexican cyclist .

Career

After Magallanes finished second in the Gran Premio della Liberazione in 2004, he drove as a stagiaire for the Saeco cycling team at the end of the season . He got no contract there for the following year and went to the Italian UCI Continental Team Androni Giocattoli-3C Casalinghi , for which he won a stage of the Vuelta a Chihuahua in 2006. From 2007 to 2009 Magallanes drove for the Mexican Continental Team Tecos de la Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and won a stage of the Vuelta a El Salvador , Vuelta a Colombia and the Vuelta Mexico . In 2013 he won two stages of the Vuelta a Guatemala and one of the Ruta del Centro . In 2015, he won the bronze medal in the Pan American Championship road race . He was Mexican champion three times: in 2007 in the time trial and road race a second time in the time trial in 2016.
