Jessica Samuelsson (born January 30, 1992 in Norrköping ) is a Swedish football player who has been under contract with the English first division club Arsenal LFC since 2017 .
Career
societies
Samuelsson moved in 2010 to the Swedish first division club and reigning champions Linköpings FC , for whom she came to 72 league appearances in the following four seasons. For the 2013/14 season of the Australian W-League she joined Melbourne Victory on loan and returned to Linköping after winning the Australian Championship. In the years that followed, success was also set in Sweden and Samuelsson won the Swedish Football Cup twice in a row with Linköping, as well as the championship in 2016. For the 2017/18 season she moved to Arsenal LFC in the English FA Women's Super League .
National team
Samuelsson played for various Swedish youth national teams. On November 22, 2011, she made her debut in a friendly against the selection of Canada in the Swedish national team and took part with this in the 2013 European Championship . In May 2015 she was nominated for the 2015 World Cup. She was used in three games, but was eliminated with her team in the round of 16 against Germany .
