Professional support

At both shows, the broadcast was accompanied professionally in front of the camera by minigolf athletes from the German Minigolf Association (DMV). In 2007 DMV sports director Michael Löhr acted as referee. The following year, Bundesliga referee Christian Somnitz took on this task and made sure that the rules were observed. In both editions produced in Flensburg (2007 and 2008), the participants were able to fall back on the German school runner-up Mark Harmening from the 1st MGC Mainz, who acted as a joker. Each team was allowed to use him once and let him tackle a course - mostly successfully. In 2006 Oliver Christ set a world record of 46 aces in 60 seconds on the Vulkan track. Games

As in normal mini golf, 18 holes were played according to the rules of this sport. However, the two-man teams had to compete for a lane with a handicap . For example, the player had to cope with the lane blind and be guided by voice by his teammate. In 2007 he took 1st place and won the golden racket Ingo Lenßen with Horst Lichter, in 2008 Thomas Anders and Joey Kelly were successful.
